You don't have to graduate out of adventure to graduate into comfort. Owning a Crossover 2XL is about having the freedom to go further without feeling like you've brought your whole house with you. It's for someone who still wants the adventure, the dirt road, the remote campsite, the place at the end of the track, but has reached the point where comfort, privacy and ease matter too.
The addition of an internal toilet and shower changes something important: you no longer have to choose between a genuinely capable, compact off-road Crossover and the everyday comforts that traditionally push people towards a much larger caravan. Pull up somewhere beautiful, make yourself comfortable, and be completely self-contained, with no amenities block and no external annex to set up after dark.
“It's independence. It's arriving somewhere remote and knowing you have what you need.”
Private, warm and all your own, with no queuing for the camp bathroom and no torch-lit walk across the campsite after dark. The ensuite is ready wherever you park, whatever the weather is doing outside, and it's finished to feel like a proper bathroom, not an afterthought.

This new van is something we're incredibly proud of. Like everything we build at Vista RV, it's been designed with real-world Australian travel in mind. There has been plenty of thought, care and a little bit of stubbornness along the way!
For me, Vista RV is much more than a business. It's something I'm genuinely passionate about. I care about how our vans are built, how they perform, and most importantly, how our customers feel when they are off on their adventures.
Seeing our vans travelling all over Australia, hearing the stories from our owners and watching the Vista family grow is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
This new model is the next step in the Vista RV journey, and I can't wait to see where it takes you.
The 2XL is the first Vista RV Crossover with an internal toilet and shower, a private ensuite finished to feel like a proper bathroom, so you're completely self-contained with no amenities block and no external annex to set up.
The 2XL runs 1260W of solar across the roof and rear lift-up pod, feeding 2 × 314 amp lithium batteries through a Redarc RedVision TVMS with a 100 amp ALPHA charger.
The 2XL carries 250 litres of fresh water across 2 × 125 litre tanks, plus a 55 litre grey water tank.
The Crossover 2XL is built to order and priced per build, because options and configuration vary. Contact our team for a current quote.
Less than 15 seconds to be in the camper and out of the rain. The sail awning takes less than 5 minutes, and the shower pod less than 1 minute.
If your tow vehicle can go there, then the Crossover will follow.
We offer a two (2) year warranty, full parts and labour.
We require a deposit of $5,000 to place your order on the production line, with the balance payable on pickup.
Unfortunately, we do not offer finance options.
Vista RV Crossover has an amazing and well-earned reputation for quality, design and support.
“We have owned three Crossovers – a Classic, an XL and currently an XLI – since 2010 and have loved each one. The problem is they keep making them better. The combination of practicality, comfort, engineering and rugged construction makes them hard to beat. They are easy to tow, quick to set up and comfortable to live in. We have taken them to places like the Wonangatta Valley in Victoria and the Gibb River Road in Western Australia with never a worry. They are equally at home in the dusty Outback or on High Country trails. We have never had a dust leak despite endless kilometres of bulldust.”
“We have just returned from our second, brief camp in our new Vista. It is our third Vista and they just keep getting better every time. We started with a Classic then an XL and now an XLE. The new roof line and higher bench make it feel a lot bigger again. The drop-down shower/toilet area is so fast and easy to set up. The XLE exceeds our expectations. Thanks to the whole team at Vista RV.”
“It's so good that we can live in them for 4 to 5 months a year, it's nice and compact and everything is in there that you would have in a caravan.”
